When I shoot I try to find the intimacy - a point where I can convey that moment through the lens into the shot. With our increasing dependence on technology interface these days, too often we trade connection for convenience, and that's an isolating thing, it's cold. You can take great technical shots, and still miss the connection entirely, so for me, the most important thing about photography is it's power to find that connection/intimacy and give that human experience back to the viewer. Regardless of who or what I am shooting, or who I am shooting for - if I can do that, for me, that's everything, that's success.
